Notice (Recess 2025)

It is hereby notified that there will be SUMMER RECESS (for staff) / STUDY LEAVE (for students) for the period 19-05-2025 to 30-06-2025.

CONDITIONS FOR SUMMER RECESS:

  • 'Summer Recess' is applicable to only those teachers/librarians whose departments (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BOTANY, ZOOLOGY, POL. SC., BENGALI, PHILOSOPHYCOMMERCE, ENGLISHSANSKRIT, LIBRARYHISTORYGEOGRAPHYMATHEMATICSCOMPUTER SCIENCEHINDISANTALI) have complied with the tasks assigned by the GB. Hence, all teachers (FTT & SACT) of these departments can enjoy summer recess for the aforementioned period. Teachers of all other departments are requested to meet the GB on 21-05-2025 (12 noon) if they have any issues regarding compliance of assigned duties in this regard.
  • All other departments are requested to submit (a) required CAS format (b) required “Routine Survey Form" to avail the aforementioned 'Summer Recess'.
  • Some teachers have requested for extra time and some teachers have submitted their portion of the “Routine Survey Form". These applications will be placed before the GB in its next meeting.
  • NTS must have to perform duties as assigned by Head Clerk. A roster is to be maintained by the Head Clerk for this purpose. A NTS may not come to college if no duty is assigned on a particular day.
  • A teacher must have to come to the college and perform duty if any campus duty is assigned by the principal/HoD.
  • A teacher must have to perform duty if any online duty/task is assigned by the principal/HoD.
  • Normal Classes will be suspended (due to study leave of students) during this aforementioned period. However, remedial classes may be taken subject to resolution of dept. meeting.
  • Examination duty, if assigned, will be mandatory during this period.
  • Please remember that 'Recess' is neither a right nor a vacation/holiday. It is merely a temporary suspension of normal activities owing to 'study leave' of students.
