This is to inform everyone that our college will be observing Sanskrit Diwas on 31.08.2026 at 11:00 AM in the College Auditorium.
Sanskrit is one of the world's oldest languages and the root of many modern Indian languages. To honour this rich linguistic and cultural heritage, the college has organized a special celebratory event.
The schedule for the celebration includes the following events:
• Inaugural Ceremony: Vande Mataram, Lighting of the lamp and a welcome address by the Principal, Prayer Assembly, recitation of Sanskrit Dhyeya Mantra and Subhashita.
• Sanskrit Shloka Chanting: A competitive session featuring traditional Vedic and classical recitations by students.
• Exhibition: A display in the Exhibition Hall showcasing ancient manuscripts, charts on the evolution of the script, and contributions of Sanskrit to mathematics, astronomy, and science.
• Cultural Performances: Short plays, traditional dances, and patriotic songs performed in Sanskrit, etc.
• Vote of Thanks: Concluding remarks and national anthem.
All students, faculty members and staff are cordially invited to attend the programme. Students who wish to participate in the shloka chanting or other competitions are requested to register their names in the following google form.
